Nature

While I have studied music and I understand theory—I learned the rules in order to break them! I have a more natural approach to songwriting. If ever I am stuck on a section in a song, often times looking at textures or shapes in nature can help me translate ideas into song. Everyday I have to make sure I go out on a nature walk. I love to see the detail all around me. How does being out in nature inspire you? What treasures have you found?
